Dr. Juan Lucas Rosas has a remarkable career spanning nearly three decades in the healthcare industry.

Before transitioning into hospital administration, Dr. Rosas excelled as a clinician and academician, serving as an ENT specialist and assistant professor for over two decades. In 2006, he demonstrated exceptional leadership as the president of STENTs, a regional ENT organization, where he spearheaded the pioneering initiative of regional hearing screening in the country.

Dr. Rosas served as the Chief Medical Officer of Asian Hospital for six years from 2008 to 2014.

Subsequently, Dr. Rosas joined FV Hospital in Vietnam as the Quality Management Director. His primary responsibility was to ensure the quality of care and patient safety through Joint Commission International accreditation which Dr Rosas led for 3 cycles with FVH achieving remarkable scores. Following eight successful years at FV Hospital, Dr. Rosas served as the Group COO of Hoan My Corporation, as Interim COO for the planned multispecialty day surgery center of FV, returning in Hoan My Corporation as a Quality Management Consultant. In this capacity, he was tasked with developing and integrating quality standards across the group's 15 hospitals and 6 clinics through Australian Council for Healthcare Standards International accreditation. Dr. Rosas successfully managed this initiative before eventually returning to the Philippines, on January 2, 2024, to assume the role of Head of Quality Management and Patient Safety at Metro Pacific Health.

Dr. Rosas's expertise and reputation have earned him recognition beyond his immediate roles. Notably, he was appointed as the sole foreign consultant by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, Quality Department in 2018.

He is an alumnus of the University of the Philippines, Ateneo Graduate School, and most recently, Harvard Medical School for its HMS-SEAL Hospital Leadership Program.

His greatest passion is to make a difference in the region by ensuring that financially sustainable health institutions of the highest quality and safest care are accessible to all.
